Is "Dasara" the name of the fair, or the name of the place where the fair is?
"Dasara" is the name of the fair. I had to google for it and I understood that it's a festival that might be celebrated differently in different part of India so there will be more fairs named "Dasara". Supposedly the boy in the book intends the one that is celebrated in his village.

krinu ji mukti?
you're right, "mukti" should convey more precisely the fact that seeing the moon smiling motivated the boy to smile too.

There's a "fa'o" on this page, which doesn't make sense, as the story
continues on the next page.
Actually the story ends there. The next page is a game as they are usually find in children books, it's not part of the story.

Thanks, I hadn't translate the info page. I feel I should translate the license and info page too but I don't think I'm at that level yet.
"bangalor" or "bengylur"? The latter matches the Kannada spelling (not that I
can read Kannada but there's a transcription).
"jajgau lo pixra cukta"
