I'm not sure why be is needed here. Wouldn't be ok to say "darxi le
my. tupcidni" (to indicate the knee, not just an articulation) ?
He's suggesting that you specify that the joint being checked belongs to Modi. Specifying that the joint being checked is a knee is different.
I say that context is enough in this case, as to me it should be obvious that the joint being checked is Modi's, but his point is valid.
