Anyway, if it's for saying complete utterance, I think we should use
{ni'o} (and {fa'o} rather than {.i}.

I see this very valuable if the elision is non-obvious but I fear it
might be overkill to apply this rule to every sentence.

Surely what is "obvious" is subjective but do we really want to have:

{la lunra cu mlatu} and {la lunra ku cu mlati} and {la lunra ku mlatu}
(my cat is named "Luna" which is "Moon" in Italian :) )

I would prefer to have the most "lojbanic" translation in tatoeba i.e.
the one that most lojbanist would have said. Of course, since we many
times disagree on how to say things, we might have multiple versions.

Just adding sentences with all the elidable terminators, seems too much for me.
