I did not make up "which see". It's a not uncommon phrase in written English, 
but as "see" is first-person singular indicative, plural indicative, all p/n 
subjunctive, and infinitive as well as imperative, it took me years to figure 
out what the phrase means. Latin "vide" is only imperative, so the phrase is 
unambiguous in Latin.
