To the extent that FAhA etc. can control at least one sumti, the
notion of valency seems as much applicable to them as to BAI. "fa'a"
(FAhA) is one-valence, and "fa'e" (BAI) is two-valence. "se" likely
wouldn't make sense with a one-valence word, but the combination could
well be grammatical -- "prenu" is one-valence, without a predefined
second argument place, but "se prenu" is grammatical, syntactically
valid.
