[lojban] Hole

How do you translate "hole" in the sense of an opening in a solid, as in "there is a hole in my bucket!"?

There is {kevna}, but it is clearly defined to mean a cavity, not a passage.

There is {fenra}, but it appears to be of a different shape.

jbovlaste has {greke'a}, which suggests a more general reading of {kevna}.

selpa'i has used {nonselsfe}. I guess a sphere is a nonselsfe. I use {korbi} for surfaces in general, but {nonselkoi} would be something unbounded, or an open set in topology.

I have used {canko} in the past, but it needs the right context. How would I differentiate a hole in a wall or ship from a window?

A more general {kevna} would be useful when you don't know how a hole ends.

Ideas?
