I don't have a strong feeling on which "quick fix" is better. The issue that makes it messy is it's hard to do uniformly, because each has its own wrinkle: CGV=>CVGV creates tosmabru if the CGV was initial, whereas CGV=>CV'V sometimes creates slinku'i or lujvo-shaped words, the latter of which is a tcizbaga-type situation (and I know some BPFK members don't think that's a problem).

I would be in favor of breaking up the CGV into CV'V uniformly. THe
only downside is that this will shift stress where the CGV is final,
but I can live with that.
