Some translations from Polish:

lo pu'o dandu na crijinru
("Co ma wisieć, nie utonie", 'what has to hang, will not drown'; in
Polish there's one word for 'sink' and 'drown', so I made up a lujvo
for 'to be lost by being submerged')

Since the original proverb clearly refers to those who are to die by drowning and those who are to die by hanging, why not use the existing words jaurvasmro and dadycatra?

And now, my own.  This is a saying that my mother z"l created (originally accidentally misstating her intended aphorism), but became a family saying in (the Englihs equivalent of) this form forever since:

lo nu zerle'a ku cu nu zerle'a sera'a lo fepni be li mu .a lo sicni be fi lo fepni be li mu
