No. LE doesn't accept bridi.

la .sam. noi pendo mi
          ^ noi is the key word here.

NOI attaches a subordinate bridi to a sumti in order to provide more
information about it. In the above example, "Sam, who is my
friend, ...". So {la .sam. noi pendo mi ku'o gerku} is what you want.
