[lojban] gratuitous use of kem, was Re: Lojban-English full dictionary effort- request for assistance

Quoting Jorge Llambías <jjllambias@gmail.com>:

And that's assuming people ever want to use 4-rafsi lujvo.
I think it's much more likely that {se xismalsi}, {te xismalsi}
will be preferred.

[.iero'e.ienairu'ero'are'e] I agree, as a general rule, but [zu'unai] if it's possible in Lojban, I want to do it!

It reminds me of the way with simple lujvo with a place conversion there's a sort of phantom letter there. Like, you can say "se cusku" or you can say "selcusku".. you can choose a space or an L. :) So in this case of more complex lujvo you can choose a "se" or you can choose a "selkem". Selkem sounds like an awesome tool to have in the toolbox, to me.

In fact, I'm thinking, you can throw a "kem" on the beginning of any lujvo and leave it with the same meaning, huh? Or you could open up a bunch of parens like "kemkemkemkemkemcusku" and then they just get magically closed after the "cusku" and do nothing, right?
