I guess what would help there would be to generate a list of all of them out of the source file, which I could use to do global or semiglobal transformations.

Actually that one is marked with an underscore in my master copy. I do have examples of "Ije" capitalized because I knew about that. I don't know what current practice is as to writing these as compounds or splitting them, but I suppose the latter is more useful for the learner.
