No, I'm not saying anything of the kind, I'm saying that "she was
beginning to get tired of sitting there doing nothing" does not
evoke the idea of "mental tiredness" to me at all; it looks to me
like slang for "she was beginning to get bored".

I certainly *would* use tatpi for mental tiredness; that's not what
that line says to me.
