I've found while looking through English sentences to translate into lojban that I can _almost_ translate some sentences (with the help of vlasisku.lojban.org) but I run in to one or two subtle points that I'm not sure of.

For example, my initial instinct to translate
"The old man has enough money."

would be
{le tolci'o nanmu ku ponse rau jdini}

but I am not sure whether it should be {rau lo jdini} or {lo rau jdini} or if I should be using {loi} or something.
I've just been leaving sentences like that untranslated, but it's happened often enough that I wonder if I should translate them and let more experienced jbopre check my results.  This seems like a bad idea, but I'd also feel weird cluttering up the beginner's discussion list with requests for translation advice.

Any recommendations?

That's someone or other's law, isn't it? When you state a rule and
next thing you do is break it? :)
