Unsolicited and probably wrong-headed advice: you might try what I have done in 
the little bit of semantic research I've managed: start with the formal logic 
and work back to see what you can get and then try to get that also some other 
way (the claim being that you cannot -- so far it seems to hold).  This Aalso 
gives a number of other ways of proceeding in some cases and allows looking at 
transformations to find other equivalent expressions.
