It is indeed an event of carna, but "carna" has no place for the orientation
at which the turning stops, which is why we need a new word. I think that x2,
not x3, should be the orientation when it finishes turning, for consistency
with "klama" and "plipe".

"carna fi lo berti" means that the direction of turning was north, which
implies that the axis of turning passes through the north. It says nothing
about which way Gerald was facing when he stopped turning.
