Re: [lojban] cmevla as a class of brivla
la .lojbab. cu cusku di'e
"cmevla" means nothing to me as a concept.
What used to be called "cmene" is now commonly called "cmevla". A cmevla
is a word that ends in a consonant. Calling such words "cmene" causes
too much confusion, because cmene means "name", and brivla can be names,
too, which means that "cmene" got used as meaning one thing in English,
and another in Lojban, thus confusing people.
Nowadays it's more common to use the word "cmevla" to refer to the
morphological class of "name-words".
