"Observative" is honestly not a real term. It gives a better idea of what is really said when you don't include any sumti places and just say a selbri, but at the end of the day:

{.i gerku}

is really parsing as:

{.i zo'e gerku zo'e}

mu'o mi'e latros.

I thought if the first sumti was omitted then the bridi was always an
observative. You'd have to say "zo'e gerku" for x1 to be implied by
context. Alternatively you could say "le la sam pendo mi gerku".

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm a novice too.
