Re: [lojban] some critics admire only one another
Another interesting question (this one seems unresolved by the original except
for the problem cited) is whether this is just about critics they admire or
about folks they admire altogether (who. in these cases, happen to be only
critics). I'm unclear why "one another" means "all non-self:, this seem to miss
the reciprocity (or whatever you want to call it) involved -- which lies at the
heart of the need, in the Frege program, to move to second order to define the
limits of that whatever. Lojban isn't part of the Frege program but takes
various mathematical systems as givens, not needing definitions in terms of
other systems. While I do want to avoid the null case, I don't want to insist
that each critic in this group admires all the other critics in this group (but
I suppose I do want to eliminate that some admire themselves?).

But if "one another" means "all non-self", then "only one another"
means "all non-self and only".
Otherwise, if no critic admires anyone it would be true that some
critics admire only one another, which seems wrong.
