Re: [lojban] Translation

2) Technically, yes, although actually they start with ".i", which is like the reverse of the period in English: In English the '.' means <end of sentence>, whereas {.i} means <beginning of new utterance>, and {.i} is not required at the beginning of speech, so the first one doesn't have to have it.

However, whether or not the "." is in the text, when speaking, the pause in speech the "." represents still has to be there.

So, not omitting any "." in that:

ko na cipnrkuku fau lo nu do ctesa'acpi
.i ko na ctesa'acpi ja sfani bo kavbu fau lo nu do gerku
.i ku'i ro da ka'e bacru
.i la'oi.Underware. cmene mi'a

Okay, many thanks to everybody. Really great. Since my knowledge of Lojban is pretty limited, is this a correct summary of everything above:

.i ko na cipnrkuku fau lo nu do ctesa'acpi
.i ko na ctesa'acpi ja sfani bo kavbu fau lo nu do gerku
.i ku'i ro da ka'e bacru
.i la'oi Underware cmene mi'a

2 more remarks:
1) As “Underware” is a name it can remain untranslated.
2) Every sentence should start with a period, correct?
